Paleo / Whole 30 Survival Guide

Paleo / Whole 30 Survival Guide

If you’re just starting out with the Paleo or Whole 30 diet, here’s what you need in order to survive on the diet AND enjoy all the food you are eating.

Paleo Flour for Flour

Great for baking or thickening sauces and soups!

Coconut oil instead of PAM or other oils

PAM spray has soy in it (I know, madness) and vegetable oil contains everything BUT vegetables and is so bad for your gut. Coconut oil is the way to go.

Coconut Aminos instead of Soy sauce

Tastes just like soy sauce too! Excellent alternative.

Paleo Mayo instead of Mayo

I can’t even tell the difference from regular mayo.

Paleo Tortillas instead of Flour or Corn Tortillas

Now you can make delicious chicken, bacon, tomato wraps for lunch! This brand has tortilla chips too, keep your eyes open at Whole Foods and you might find them.

Banana Chips instead of Dessert

I can eat an entire bag in one sitting (not recommended). They seriously taste like candy, and they don’t even have added sugar!

Lara Bars in place of your favorite breakfast bars

This apple pie flavor is my favorite. Doesn’t quite taste like real apple pie, but it’s a good Whole 30 alternative.

La Croix with lime instead of Cocktails

Peach Pear flavor is the way to go. Add some lime and you won’t even miss that glass of wine! (well, you won’t miss it AS much)

Spaghetti Squash – instead of pasta

I love this stuff, and my husband does too (which says a lot). Make some paleo pasta sauce and you’re good to go. Super easy to cook these!

Coconut milk instead of Heavy Cream

This is my favorite brand, but there are tons out there. This is great for baking or cooking when you need whole milk or heavy cream. It’s pretty thick!
